Estefanía Arriaza

Born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she pursued her academic journey at several prestigious institutions in the United States, including Parsons The New School of Design, New York, NY; Carnegie Mellon University, College of Fine Arts, Pittsburgh, PA; and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL.

Her artistic practice encompasses various forms of poetry, public interventions, and installation. She is passionate about working with communities and integrating sociology, anthropology, and science into educational programs. In recent years, her focus has shifted to ceramics and textile art, deeply rooted in her Guatemalan heritage.

Su práctica artística se constituye en varias formas de poesía, intervenciones públicas, e instalación. Le apasiona trabajar con comunidades e incorporar las ramas de sociología, antropología y ciencias en programas educativos. En los últimos años su enfoque físico ha sido en cerámica y arte textil que se fundamenta en sus raíces guatemaltecas.
