Lessons
-
Work appreciation
Organizing an exhibition is not a one-person job, during the preparation and duration of this exhibition, we realized the number of people who were behind the process of creating each of the artworks. Patty always emphasized the importance of the help she received from each person who worked with her, including the work of those who framed the paintings, those who helped her with the embroidery, and those who installed the artworks. She taught us to appreciate and express gratitude for the work of each individual, also showing us that teamwork always leads us to achieve a common goal where we can all learn from each other.
-
Authenticity
Learning from an authentic artist teaches us many valuable lessons such as courage, integrity, originality and creativity. By being an authentic person, we can improve in our own lives and also positively influence the lives of those around us. An authentic artist is a unique being, Patty has the ability to convey stories and emotions with every artistic element she presents on her art pieces.
-
Attitude
Kindness and positivism are essential for an artist not only for their professional success, but also for their personal well being and their ability to positively influence into the art world and society.
-
Presence
With the different obstacles that arose, we were able to learn to overcome them and find solutions as a team along with Patty. Each member of the team had their part, and Patty remained present and aware of every small detail or problem that might arise.
-
Perseverance
Those who pursue their goals and objectives with determination inspire us to continue and forge our own individual paths. Perseverance is a fundamental quality that can profoundly shape an artist’s development and success. It teaches us about self improvement, adaptability, and the importance of maintaining faith in one's work and ourselves.
